Invitations remain open for three years. The Institute's Board drops from the Invitation List those invitees who do not accept and use their invitation within that three-year window.

Should you be interested in seeking an invitation to attend the Blue Ridge Institute, you may contact Tish McCutchen, Other States and National Members List Chair, or any Oklahoma member of the Blue Ridge Institute. Nomination forms are generally circulated in the early Fall of each year and must be received by the State List Chair by early October. Nominees are then presented to the Blue Ridge Institute Board of Directors at its November meeting. If nominees are accepted by the full Board, the Institute's Invitations Chair is then authorized to extend an invitation to individual for the the next-July Institute. Invitations generally come out in late April or early May of each year.
