In 1952, we honored six Charter members of 1927 who could return for the 25th Anniversary. Those present and the positions they held in 1927 were: Miss Roberta Morgan, Executive Secretary of the Birmingham (Alabama) Chapter of American Red Cross; Mrs. Marion Crawford Adams, Executive Secretary, Greensboro (North Carolina) Chapter American Red Cross; Raymond Clapp, Director of the Welfare Federation of Cleveland, Ohio; Dr. Henry H. Hibbs, Director of Richmond School of Social Work; John Strohecker, Executive Secretary of Greenville (South Carolina) Community Fund; and the Institute Founder, Arthur Alden Guild, who traveled by bus from California to be with us. Arthur was mighty proud to see how the Institute had grown and developed. He saw a new generation of work-better trained and more experienced than many of the early founders of Blue Ridge.

The 50th Anniversary of Blue Ridge was held in 1977 with a record attendance of 159 registrants (of which 41 were attending for the first time), 80 spouses and 60 others, including children. Of the 18 past presidents of Blue Ridge who were still living, 15 were on hand for the celebration.
